VisualzAI
How it works

From .lrcat
to reviewed in 47 minutes.

Visualz isn't a Lightroom replacement. It's an AI engine that reads your catalog, makes the boring 90% of decisions for you, and writes everything back where Lightroom expects it. You stay in Lightroom. We just save you the night.

Step 01
Install

One download. Sign in. Done.

Mac DMG or Windows installer, both signed and notarized. Sign in with the same email you used on the website — the desktop app pulls your credit balance and plan automatically.

~120 MB · macOS 12+ · Windows 11 · Lightroom Classic 12+

Step 02
Drop your catalog

Point Visualz at a .lrcat. We do the rest.

We read the JPEG previews Lightroom already generated inside the .lrdata folder — your RAW files never move. The Culling Brain runs the 7-round pipeline on cloud GPUs and writes star ratings, picks, color labels, and collections back into your catalog.

~47 min for a 2,400-image select set on a typical wedding · 8K source images

Step 03
Review in Lightroom

Open Lightroom. Everything is where you expect it.

Visualz writes to the catalog file. Lightroom does all rendering — we don't replace it, we feed it. You see ★★★★★ Hero Shots in a red collection, ★★★ Selects, and rejected frames flagged with an X. From there, click Add AI Editing if you want the Editing Brain to apply XMP corrections to every keeper.

100% Lightroom-native · undo any edit via History panel · no new file format

Where everything lives

Your files don't move.

The biggest privacy question we get is: "are you uploading my RAWs?" No. The math doesn't work — a wedding in RAW is 200–400 GB. Here's what's actually on the wire:

RAW files
Never leave your machine. Ever.
JPEG previews
Uploaded for AI processing. Auto-deleted after 7 days.
Star ratings + picks
Written into the .lrcat SQLite — Lightroom reads them natively.
XMP edits
Written into the catalog's Adobe_imageDevelopSettings table.
Editor DNA
Statistical profile only. We never keep your training catalogs.
Two engines

Use one. Or both.

Visualz ships two independent engines. You can subscribe to just Culling, just Editing, or bundle both. They share the same desktop app and the same account.

Culling Brain

Filters 8,000 raw frames down to ~2,400 selects. Preserves the story (One-Shot Rule). Detects artistic blur vs accidental blur. Surfaces your top 5% as Hero Shots.

Editing Brain

Classifies every keeper into one of 8 light types, generates 18 XMP parameters via Gemini Vision, blends 40% your Editor DNA on top, writes everything back to the catalog.
