Your RAW files never leave your machine. An 8,000-image wedding catalog in RAW is 200–400 GB. We don't upload that — we couldn't if we wanted to. The Visualz desktop app reads your Lightroom .lrcat catalog locally and only uploads the compressed JPEG previews that Lightroom already generated inside the .lrdata folder.

Previews are roughly 3–8 GB for the same wedding. They're stored on Cloudflare R2 for the duration of the job and auto-deleted after 7 days.

• Account info: email, optional name, optional studio name and phone (if you fill them in).
• JPEG previews: uploaded per-job from your Lightroom catalog. Used only for AI processing. Auto-deleted after 7 days.
• Job records: what you ran, when, how many images, which AI services were called, and what they cost. Used for billing and your usage history.
• Editor DNA stats: if you opt into Editor DNA, we extract numerical statistics (means, standard deviations) per light type from your edited catalogs. We don't keep the catalogs themselves — only the statistical profile.
• Payment metadata: Paymob handles card data; we receive transaction IDs and amounts only. We never see or store your card number.

We use the following processors to deliver the service. Each holds only the slice of data they need:

• Supabase — your account, usage, and billing records (Postgres, EU region)
• Cloudflare R2 — temporary preview storage (7-day auto-delete)
• Google (Gemini Vision) — scene + light classification on preview JPEGs
• Anthropic (Claude) — borderline culling decisions on preview JPEGs
• RunPod — GPU inference for face / eye / blur analysis
• Paymob — payment processing (MENA region)
• Resend — transactional email (receipts, support replies)

• JPEG previews: 7 days, then permanently deleted
• Job records + cost ledger: 24 months (for tax + dispute records), then deleted
• Editor DNA profile: until you delete it from Settings, or your account closes
• Account: until you delete it. Email us at privacy@visualzai.com to request closure — we honor it within 30 days.

You can, at any time:

• Export your data (account, jobs, DNA profile)
• Correct any field on your account
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of analytics (PostHog) via the cookie banner

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Beyond that, we use PostHog for product analytics (which pages get used, where people drop off). The banner on first visit lets you decline analytics. Declining never breaks the product.

We don't use advertising cookies. We don't share data with advertisers. We don't run remarketing pixels.

All transit is HTTPS. API keys for the AI services live on our backend, never in the desktop app. Payment data never touches our servers — Paymob handles it directly. We log a security audit trail on every admin action. If you suspect a breach, email security@visualzai.com.

If we change anything material, we email everyone with an active account at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Everything else (typo fixes, clarifications) is reflected here with an updated date at the top.
