VisualzAI
Terms of service

The rules.
Short version.

We tried to write this like a human, not a lawyer. If anything doesn't read clearly, email hello@visualzai.com and we'll rewrite it.

01

What you get

A desktop app for macOS and Windows that filters and edits Lightroom catalogs using AI. We're responsible for keeping it working, improving the AI quality, and protecting your data. You're responsible for having a valid Lightroom Classic license and a machine that meets the system requirements on the download page.

02

Pricing and credits

Culling Brain is a monthly subscription. Editing Brain is per-image credits. Bundles combine both at a discount. Exact prices are on the pricing page — they're the contract; if anything here conflicts with the pricing page, the pricing page wins.

Credits don't expire as long as your account is active. Subscription months don't roll over — unused culling capacity for the month resets at the next billing cycle.

03

Refunds

30-day money-back guarantee on subscriptions. If Visualz isn't for you, email billing@visualzai.com within 30 days of your first paid charge and we refund in full, no questions.

Credits are refundable only if unused. Used credits aren't refundable (we paid the AI providers for that work). Refunds are processed via Paymob back to your original payment method, typically 5–10 business days.

04

What we promise about results

AI culling and editing are decision support, not replacements for your judgment. We aim for high-quality output and benchmark against professional editors, but Visualz can and will make mistakes. Always review the catalog in Lightroom before delivering to a client.

The app writes XMP edits and star ratings into your .lrcat catalog. Lightroom's native History panel lets you undo anything we did. We strongly recommend you back up your catalog before the first run.

05

Beta caveats

During the closed beta (the first 50 photographers), things may break. AI quality will improve week over week. The auto-update system will push fixes automatically. If something goes wrong with your catalog, stop, don't keep editing, and email beta@visualzai.com with the catalog name and a screenshot. We respond same-day.

Beta users get the first month free. After that, the pricing on the pricing page applies — we'll email a week before the first paid charge.

06

Acceptable use

  • Use Visualz only on catalogs you have the right to edit (your client work, your portfolio).
  • Don't try to reverse-engineer the AI or scrape the service.
  • Don't resell access. One paid account, one photographer.
  • If you run a studio with multiple editors, contact us — we have a team plan in development.
07

Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend accounts for repeated violations of the acceptable use rules above, or for credit-card chargebacks without contacting us first. Suspension is rare — we'd rather email you and fix it. If you get suspended, email appeals@visualzai.com and we'll review.

08

Liability

We do our best to ship a reliable product, but the service is provided "as is." Visualz Technologies is not liable for indirect damages (loss of business, missed deliveries) caused by software failures. Our maximum total liability for any claim is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

This isn't us being shifty — it's standard SaaS terms. We carry insurance for serious incidents and we'll work in good faith if something major goes wrong.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes go to the courts of Cairo. If you're outside Egypt, you can also bring claims in your home jurisdiction.

10

Changes

We email everyone with an active account at least 14 days before any material change to these terms. Smaller changes (typos, clarifications) appear here with an updated date.
